Susan Jean Geisler

Susan "Sue" Geisler of Pine City passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital at the age of 69.

Susan Jean Erhart was born on March 9, 1955 to Edward and Olive (Janiskela) Erhart in Rush City, Minnesota. Sue went to Pine City High School where she met her husband, Ken Geisler.

She spent her early years working as a cashier and then as a manager at Dairy Queen.

Sue loved flowers, gardening and watching the birds in the feeders. She also loved animals, especially her dogs Winnie and Tata.

She was a homebody, but she loved it when family came together, especially to celebrate the holidays. She enjoyed cooking and making big Sunday meals.

Sue had an affinity for the home shopping network and shopping online. In the afternoon you would likely find her watching her reality tv shows or the afternoon talk shows.

She will be dearly missed by all of us. 

Sue is survived by her husband Ken Geisler of Pine City; children Tammy Geisler of Burnsville, Sean (Kellie) Geisler of Farmington; grandchildren Devon Geisler, Dannon Donahue, Paige Geisler, Estella Geisler; great-grandchildren Jovi, Carter and Ivy; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Olive Erhart; brothers Jimmy Erhart and Dave Erhart.

Funeral services for Sue: 5 PM; Thursday, September 12, 2024 at the Swanson Funeral Chapel of Pine City with a time for gathering of family and friends planned for one hour prior to the service.
