Thomas "Tom" Jay McGrath

Tom McGrath of Pine City, formerly of north Minneapolis, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Ecumen in North Branch at the age of 63.

Thomas Jay McGrath was born December 12, 1958 to William and Delores (Bentley) McGrath in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Tom grew up and attended schools on "the north side" with his friends the "Road Warriors" of wrestling fame.  After high school, Tom became a professional welder which became his lifelong career.  He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed driving his 4-wheeler.  He was also a dog lover by nature, over the years he had many canine friends; Thor, Keno, Koda and Kato, some were German Shepherds and other mixed breeds.  Tom was a classic car collector, he especially liked Mustangs.

Tom is survived by his friends Craig and Mary Bestick of Pine City.

He was preceded in death by his parents William and Delores McGrath.
