William "Bill" James Miller

William "Bill" Miller passed away January 18, 2025, at his home in Beroun at the age of 71. 

William James Miller was born on November 28, 1953, to Leonard and Adeline (Kryzer) Miller in Rush City, Minnesota. He was the youngest of four children. From the time he could walk he was outside, where he was the happiest. Didn't matter to Bill if it was winter or summer, he loved the outdoors and you always knew he was hunting or fishing. He cherished his time with friends and family at the hunting camp. 

In 2010, he was so happy when he and Joan were reunited, he loved making memories with his new family. He was always so "at home" when he was outside, just sitting enjoying the sun and the peacefulness of nature. He treasured his family, most of the time, even when babysitting his nieces and nephews.

Bill is survived by his fiancée Joan Grell of Beroun; sister Kathleen (Floyd) Gray; brother Ted (Lucy) Miller all of Pine City; extended family members, Joan's son David (Heidi) Sowers of Duluth, daughters Bonnie (Doug) Lindsey of Chisholm, Melissa Grell (Kevin Saver) of Grandy; grandchildren Scott, Joe, Brigid, Kaylie; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Bud & Adeline Miller; sister Marilyn (Virgil) Miska. 

A celebration of life for Bill from 4:00-7:00 PM; Monday, January 27, 2025, at Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City.
